Did you know?

The first Milwaukee Power Tool was the Hole Shooter. The original developer of the hole shooter was A.H. Petersen a manufacturer of tools and dies. After World War One Petersen was given a very important task by Model T founder Henry Ford. Ford asked Petersen to create a 1/4 in power drill which was lightweight, portable and could be operated with one-hand. Up to this point Ford's workers had to use large, bulky machinery which only the strongest of workers could handle. Petersen did in fact produce the drill Ford was hoping for. Later A.H Petersen's partner A.F. Siebert bought the company and named it the Milwaukee Electric Tool Company.
